The Ramban explains that it is impossible for people to daven a genuine Tefilla if they complain about their predicament without recognizing the miracles performed for them by Hashem. Rooted in this Ramban is an incredible message about the uniqueness of the Jewish Neshama that has been gifted to each one of us by our Father in heaven. Deep down every Jew understands and appreciates that everything G-d does is perfect. The only reason a Jew doesn’t “get it” is because there is some type of blockage, he may not be ready to humble himself or subjugate himself to Hashem and His Torah, and let Hashem take charge and run His world.
Once a person is ready to have that Emunah, it all becomes clear that everything G-d does is perfect and beautiful, and he now can see what is innately obvious to every Yid. That is why the Ramban explains that once the Jews made a sincere Tefilla and humbled themselves before Hashem, there would no longer be any possibility that they could complain against Hashem.
The Orchos Tzadikim in Shar HaSimcha says this idea clearly when he says that believing and having Emunah that Hashem runs the world brings us to have trust, Bitochon, in Him. It appears that the Orchos Tazadikim also maintains that trust in Hashem is an automatic by-product of fully comprehending His total control over the world.
We see from Chazal the immense power of the Yiddishe Neshama to connect to Hakadosh Baruch Hu if we truly humble ourselves before him in Tefilla. IY”H we will all be zocheh to this Emunah, and it will unlock the latent trust already embedded within us as children of our forefathers Avraham, Yitzchok, and Yaakov to have complete trust in and fully appreciate all that Hashem does for us, thereby making complaining against Hashem an impossibility forever more.
