It was a tremendous Kiddush Hashem and everyone who participated should feel a part of this great accomplishment. Yasher Koach!
This campaign was beneficial for the Yeshiva on so many levels. It raised critically needed funds to maintain our current programming and to continue our plans for expansion. It also was a wonderful display of achdus, dedication, and teamwork for all involved. Rebbeim, teachers, students, parents, alumni, board members, and friends of FTI all joined together and worked diligently on a common goal.
The 24-hour campaign seemed to engender a s’viva of togetherness and highly positive feelings and energy for the yeshiva by all involved. This was especially true for our talmidim, who felt like they played a significant role in a major accomplishment. Incredibly, this feeling spilled over to countless others who were rooting for us and following the campaign until the end, many completely unbeknownst to us, with some of them ultimately contributing purely spontaneously to help us reach our goal.
Rabbi Chananya Kramer is our Menahel, and he comes with a wealth of experience in teaching Mesivta bochurim. Rabbi Kramer has served as a Rebbe at Yeshiva Chofetz Chaim in Queens since 2008. There, he became a legendary teacher, satisfying each student’s individual intellectual appetite, and connecting to them with his magnetic personality and palpable concern for the needs of each talmid. He also holds administrative positions at several other youth-related Mosdos. Rabbi Kramer sees an incredible opportunity to help bring FTI – already a fast growing yeshiva – to a whole new level, and turn it into a premier Yeshiva which will positively impact the community at large as well. Rabbi Kramer is married to Hindy (nee Luban) and they have 5 children.
