After many weeks of high holiday celebrations, it can be hard to settle back into a regular routine. At FTI, we get a taste of the New Year each month when we celebrate each new hebrew month, Rosh Chodesh.
Rosh Chodesh Cheshvan fell on Oct. 13-14. After Shacharis on Tuesday, the entire Yeshiva was treated to a special gourmet hot breakfast of eggs, donuts, bagels, and assorted spreads in the cafeteria. While enjoying their meals, Talmidim, Bochurim, and Rebbeim delivered special dvrei Torah to the group. The students then broke out into song and dance with a festive kumzitz.
As the Yeshiva finished the morning, and returned to their classes, they were all humming with joy at the chance to take the high holiday feeling with them for another month.
